Service Description
The Gloss Enhancement Detail is an exterior-focused mobile detailing service designed for vehicles that need more than a standard wash, but do not require full paint correction. This package is ideal for vehicles that are already in reasonable condition but have lost gloss, feel rough to the touch, or need the exterior properly resetting before ongoing maintenance. It is also suitable for vehicles affected by winter grime, road salt, fallout, tar spots, traffic film and general exterior contamination. The service includes a thorough safe wash process covering wheels, arches, tyres, door shuts, fuel cap, multi-stage pre-wash, snow foam, safe contact wash and intricate exterior areas. The paintwork is then chemically decontaminated to remove bonded contamination before being safely dried and prepared for a light gloss-enhancing machine polish. The machine polishing stage is designed to improve gloss, depth and overall clarity. It is not intended to remove heavy swirl marks, deeper scratches or severe paint defects. If your main concern is defect removal, our studio-based Paint Correction service will be the more suitable route. Once polished, the paintwork is wiped down and finished with Gyeon Wax, a ceramic-infused hand wax chosen for its gloss, slickness and protective finish. This helps improve the look and feel of the paintwork while adding protection against water, dirt and road grime. This service is exterior only as standard. Interior cleaning, fabric roof cleaning, headlight restoration, engine bay detailing, glass coating and wheel face protection can be added separately if required. As this service includes machine polishing, it is weather dependent when carried out mobile. Suitable space, access to water and electricity, and safe working conditions are required. In poor weather, strong wind, direct heat, heavy rain or unsuitable working conditions, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or completed at our Stalmine studio. If the customer has suitable undercover arrangements such as a garage, car port or covered area with enough space to work safely around the vehicle, the service may still be able to go ahead mobile. Please note: This is a gloss enhancement service, not a paint correction package. Duration: Approximately 5–7 hours depending on vehicle size, condition and working conditions.
Cancellation Policy
Payment & Deposits Some services require full payment at the time of booking, while others require a deposit to secure the appointment. Full Payment Required at Booking Safe Detailed Wash Essential Valet Due to limited appointment availability, full payment is required to secure these booking slots. Deposit Required at Booking Detailing Packages (Single Stage / New Car Protection) – £100 deposit Deep Clean Valet – £30 deposit Deposits are part-payment towards the service cost and secure the allocated appointment time. Remaining balances are payable on completion. All deposits and prepaid bookings are non-refundable. By booking, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this booking policy and understand the appointment time has been reserved exclusively for your vehicle. Cancellations & Rescheduling A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the appointment will result in the deposit or payment being retained. Failure to attend the appointment or provide vehicle access will be treated as a late cancellation. Vehicle Condition Prices are based on vehicles in typical condition. Vehicles with excessive pet hair, heavy staining, mud, sand, mould, bodily fluids or severe contamination may require additional time and charges. You will be informed before any additional work is carried out. Quoted prices are based on the information provided at the time of booking and may be adjusted if the vehicle condition differs significantly on arrival. Access & Weather Vehicles must be accessible and parked in a safe working location. If access cannot be provided, the booking may be cancelled and the deposit or payment retained. Mobile services are weather dependent and may be rescheduled if conditions prevent the service from being completed safely or to the expected standard. Payment Remaining balances must be paid immediately on completion via cash or bank transfer. Failure to pay may result in legal action being taken to recover the outstanding balance and any associated recovery costs.
