Thank you for choosing Platform Auto Detailing. By booking with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These are in place to protect both our time and your booking, ensuring every customer receives the best possible service.
1. Bookings, Payments & Deposits
- All online bookings made via our booking system require full payment upfront to secure the appointment. These are paid securely through Square.
- For manual bookings made by message, phone, or email, a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to confirm the booking. Deposits can be paid by bank transfer and will be deducted from the final balance due.
- Appointments are not secured until payment (either in full or the deposit) has been received. We reserve the right to offer your chosen appointment slot to someone else if your deposit is not paid within 48 hours.
- By making a payment, you confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions and give permission for Platform Auto Detailing to carry out the booked service.
- Customers must provide access to an outdoor or indoor tap (for water) and mains electricity, unless otherwise arranged in advance.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment without penalty.
- Cancelling or rescheduling within 24–48 hours of your appointment will result in a 50% cancellation fee (or 50% refund if paid in full).
- Cancelling or failing to attend within 24 hours will result in a full charge with no refund.
- Any outstanding balance following a late cancellation, reschedule, or no-show must be paid within 7 days. Failure to do so will result in legal action to recover the full amount plus legal fees.
- Rescheduling via our online booking system is free if done more than 48 hours in advance. If you need to reschedule within 24–48 hours, a £20 rescheduling fee applies.
- Reschedules are not allowed within 24 hours. A new booking and full payment will be required.
- Genuine emergencies (e.g. illness or family matters) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to waive fees at our discretion.
- We reserve the right to cancel or rearrange appointments due to adverse weather, unsafe working conditions, or unforeseen circumstances, with as much notice as possible.
3. Continuous Rescheduling Policy
- If a customer reschedules an appointment on two separate occasions, they will be required to pay the full service cost upfront for any future bookings.
- If a third cancellation or reschedule occurs, the full amount will be retained and the service may be forfeited.
- Repeated reschedules prevent us from offering those slots to other clients. This policy protects our time and income.
- In extreme cases, the customer may be removed from the Maintenance Plan or refused future bookings.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must ensure the vehicle is legally parked, easily accessible, and safe to work on.
- All personal belongings must be removed from the vehicle prior to the appointment.
- We will not clean any areas containing personal belongings (e.g. a full boot) to avoid the risk of loss, damage, or accidental disposal.
- If the vehicle is in significantly worse condition than described (e.g. excessive dirt, pet hair, mould, stains), an additional charge may apply, or the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
- Please inform us of any pre-existing damage, sensitive materials, or modifications before the appointment.
- All vehicles receive a pre-service inspection and walk-around to document the current condition.
5. Payment
- For online bookings, full payment is collected upfront via our booking system.
- For manual bookings, the remaining balance (after deposit) is due immediately upon completion of the service.
- We accept cash, bank transfer, or mobile payment.
- Failure to pay any outstanding balance may result in legal action and refusal of future bookings.
6. Liability
- Platform Auto Detailing is fully insured, and every care is taken when working on your vehicle.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or issues caused by previous repairs or modifications.
- We cannot accept responsibility for undisclosed problems with paintwork, materials, or components.
7. Maintenance Plan Terms & Conditions
- Access to the Maintenance Plan is available only after a minimum of a Deep Clean has been completed.
- Maintenance Valets must be booked no more than 6 weeks apart to retain Maintenance Plan pricing.
- If over 6 weeks elapse between appointments, a new Deep Clean will be required before rejoining the plan.
- Maintenance Valets are for upkeep only and do not include deep cleaning or restorative work.
- All booking, payment, cancellation, and rescheduling policies apply to Maintenance Plan appointments.
- Repeated cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows may result in removal from the plan.
- We reserve the right to amend pricing, services, or eligibility criteria at any time.
- Maintenance Plan customers will automatically be added into our WhatsApp community, where you will recieve special offers on new releases, discounts to share with friends and family, freebies and much more. All maintenance plan customers can leave this group at any time with no affect to your maintenance plan. We understand it isn't for everyone.
8. Child Car Seats
- We offer complimentary light cleaning of child seats upon request:
- Car seats must be removed by the customer prior to the appointment.
- For safety reasons, we will not remove, uninstall, or refit child car seats under any circumstances.
- If removed, we are happy to lightly clean and vacuum the child seat free of charge.
- For deep cleaning or sanitation, please request this in advance. Additional charges may apply.
- Customers are responsible for the safe reinstallation of all car seats after cleaning.
9. Changes to Terms & Conditions
- Platform Auto Detailing reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- The most recent version will always be published on our website.
- Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any changes.
