We collect personal data when you contact us, request a quote, book a service, join a membership, or communicate by phone, email, social media, WhatsApp, message, website forms, or in person.

  • Photographs/videos of vehicles for records and marketing (see section 8)

Vehicle registration plates may be recorded as part of business records.

  • Process maintenance memberships

  • Send invoices, receipts, or warranty documents

3. LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

4. PAYMENT & BILLING DATA

Payments may be processed using:

  • Revolut (including Tap to Pay on iPhone, in-person only)

  • Wix Payments (when used)

  • Bank Transfer

  • Cash

  • Invoice due immediately after completion

We do not store or have access to full card numbers. Card data is processed securely by approved payment providers.

5. DATA RETENTION

We store customer and vehicle data for up to 6 years, due to HMRC legal requirements and insurance protection. Photos taken as condition records may be stored as long as needed for business protection.

6. ACCESS, CORRECTION & DELETION RIGHTS

You have the legal right to:

  • Request access to your data

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of data (unless legally required to retain it)

  • Withdraw consent for marketing

  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest

7. MARKETING CONSENT

We only send marketing promotions, offers or updates if you consent. You can unsubscribe at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect lawful processing that happened before withdrawal.

8. PHOTOS, VIDEOS & NUMBER PLATES

We may record photos or videos of vehicles for:

  • Condition records

  • Insurance/dispute protection

  • Marketing and portfolio use

Number plates will only be blurred if requested before work begins.
Consent for photography is assumed unless the customer declines before work starts.

9. COOKIES & TRACKING TECHNOLOGY

Our website may use cookies and analytics tools (such as Wix or Google Analytics) to collect non-identifiable usage data. You can disable cookies via your browser at any time. Analytics data does not contain personal details unless you submit them voluntarily.

10. THIRD-PARTY DATA PROCESSORS

Your data may be stored or processed by:

  • Wix Booking / Wix Payments

  • Revolut (Tap to Pay)

  • Email hosting providers

  • Payment processors or accounting systems

All processors are required to comply with UK GDPR and operate securely.
